Despite the fact that dementia is a very individual disease - and that symptoms may vary - many memory care communities will not even consider a new resident with a Lewy body, Frontotemporal, Vascular or Alcohol Related Dementia diagnosis. They won’t even look at their medications or doctors notes.
This week we're looking at some of the symptoms of the different types of Dementia including Alzheimer's and why it can be more difficult to find care.
